English for Academic Purposes Tuition & Fees

These tuition rates are for matriculated students only. Visiting international students should see the International Summer tuition rates and fees.

Summer 2022

Graduate (3 credits required)

One 3-credit EAP course: Tuition will vary by school.
Two 3-credit EAP courses: A tuition discount may be available for students who take two EAP classes during Summer Session II. Please inquire with your graduate school program staff.
One 3-credit EAP course and one 3-credit non-EAP course: Tuition will vary by school. There is no discount in this case.

Student Association Fee

$3.00 per credit hour

Books and supplies are not included. Fees will apply for any additional credit hours taken and for courses with labs.

Housing (Optional)

On-Campus Shared Housing: $2,015.00

Students requiring summer housing should complete the Summer EAP Housing Request Form, found in the Summer EAP Enrollment Packet (PDF), and return to Summer and Special Programs by May 1. Housing for families cannot be accommodated.

Housing rates include accommodation for the duration of the official program dates only.

Dining (Optional)

Dining Plan: $1,800.00

Please note that GW does not have a traditional dining hall. This amount is an estimate of the cost of dining on GW's campus for the duration of the program, and will not be charged to student bills. Students have the option of placing funds on their student ID card (GWorld card) during the program.

Additional Fees

GW/AETNA Health Insurance: $376.76

Students will be automatically billed for summer insurance coverage for the duration of the program dates. Students who have comparable policies and wish to waive out of this requirement should contact Student Health Services.
