Mail Services

Picking Up Mail

Mail services are only available to students who are staying for three weeks or more. Students who are enrolled in the Summer Immersion program (two weeks) are not eligible for mailing service. 

During your time at GW, mail can be picked up at West Hall, Suite B-114A.

Available mail will be delivered once a day Monday-Saturday by 5:00pm. The office is open Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm. It is up to each student to check for mail at the office.

When programs are over, any first class/priority mail or packages not retrieved by students before they leave campus are returned to the sender. We are not responsible for mail or shipments to and from GW via USPS or courier service.

Sending Mail

Packages should be shipped via U.S. Post Office Priority, UPS, DHL or Fed Ex Ground for tracking purposes. Mail delivery can take up to seven business days after it's received, depending on mail volume.

Family and friends should address letters and packages as follows:
