Ameson Part 2

Eligibility

This program is open to students in the equivalent of U.S. grades 10 and 11. Applicants will demonstrate appropriate academic credentials for enrollment in undergraduate level courses, including advanced coursework in core subjects such as mathematics, science, English, foreign language and the humanities. Grades earned will be at a minimum of B+ level or higher.

English Language Requirement

Applicants must demonstrate proficiency to undertake rigorous academic coursework in English. The Pre-College Program requires proof of language proficiency on any of the following tests:

  • TOEFL: minimum of 80 (Internet based) or 550 (paper based)

  • IELTS: overall band score of 6.0 and no individual band score below 5.0

  • Ameson Scholastic Test: minimum score of 110

How to Apply

Students should coordinate with Ameson and submit their application using our online application system. Once admitted, students will need to submit a completed enrollment packet (PDF). All billing will be handled through Ameson.

Costs

GW costs include tuition, programs, housing and dining.  Please plan for additional out-of-pocket costs as noted.
 
Ameson fees cover consulting services, program selction, enrollment, visa application, overseas guidelines, alumni activities, study plan for further education, local transportation and Ameson emergency assistance and support in the U.S. Please contact Ameson for overall costs.
