Online courses work with any schedule at any location. They are asynchronous, meaning they do not meet at a set time, allowing you to pair your coursework with other summer activities, such as internships.

Abroad

Enrich your mind while exploring new horizons. Short-Term Abroad offers a broad spectrum of summer programs in the world’s most fascinating locations—taking your studies beyond the lecture hall into the global classroom.

Institutes

Summer institutes offer students and working professionals a substantive in-depth analysis of thematically-driven topics that incorporate the unparalleled resources and key institutions unique to Washington D.C.

International Summer

GW invites visiting international students to spend an unforgettable summer of study in Washington, DC.

Pre-College

Current high school freshmen, sophomores, and juniors are invited to apply to the GW Pre-College Program, which features non-credit and credit courses.
