Explore the variety of programs and courses offered during Summer at GW.

On Campus

Choose from nearly 700 courses in 70 different areas of study. Courses are offered during the day and in the evening to accommodate your busy summer schedule.

Online courses work with any schedule at any location. They are asynchronous, meaning they do not meet at a set time, allowing you to pair your coursework with other summer activities, such as internships.

Enrich your mind while exploring new horizons. Short-Term Abroad offers a broad spectrum of summer programs in the world’s most fascinating locations—taking your studies beyond the lecture hall into the global classroom.

Summer institutes offer students and working professionals a substantive in-depth analysis of thematically-driven topics that incorporate the unparalleled resources and key institutions unique to Washington D.C.
