Scholarship Opportunities
GW is committed to broadening opportunities for underrepresented students to apply and participate in our summer programs.
D.C. public school and public charter school students from historically underrepresented and underserved communities will receive automatic consideration for scholarship assistance when applying to STEM summer programs. GW also has two full scholarship summer programs funded by private sponsors, Caminos al Futuro and INSPIRE.
Scholarships for D.C. Public School & Public Charter School Students
All eligible D.C. public school and public charter school students who apply to any of our 2 or 1-week sessions of Summer Immersion or Summer Exposure (noncredit) STEM programs will be automatically considered for scholarship awards. The scholarship covers partial program costs for selected students, depending on demonstrated need and funding availability. An additional application is not required.
Students enrolled in high schools that currently partner with GW on other funded study opportunities (School Without Walls, DCPS Dual Enrollment) will not be eligible for this scholarship opportunity.
